Iran endorses Bush

Iranian hard-core theocrats endorse Bush for President (AP)
Despite Bush's rhetoric against Iran, they'd rather have him back for more:

Historically, Democrats have harmed Iran more than Republicans, said Hasan Rowhani, head of the Supreme National Security Council, Iran's top security decision-making body.

"We haven't seen anything good from Democrats," Rowhani told state-run television in remarks that, for the first time in decades, saw Iran openly supporting one U.S. presidential candidate over another.

Though Iran generally does not publicly wade into U.S. presidential politics, it has a history of preferring Republicans over Democrats, who tend to press human rights issues.

"We do not desire to see Democrats take over," Rowhani said when asked whether Iran was supporting Democratic Sen. John Kerry against Bush.

Now that's interesting.  Most of the truly democratic countries want Kerry, while false-front "democracies" and "republics" led by autocrats, like Iran, support Bush.  Democrats do more harm than Republicans to these kinds of rulers, who enjoy cronylike status among the Republicans.

Who do you want for your President?  Democracies' preferred candidate, Kerry?  Or Iran's choice, Bush?

Love the post. Incidentally, have you ever seen the comparison between Hitler's first few years, and Bush's? I can't remember where I saw it, but it was interesting.

I know all about the similarities, though I haven't read the article you're referring to. Based on my own reading, I made a Zazzle shirt on the subject, called "know your world leaders quiz:"

Heyas, Brandon.

This disgusts me... why? Because people look right past it and don't see the implications.

Liberals are called bleeding hearts, and people seem to think they do nothing but whine and cry. Obviously, they are completely wrong, as it is the Dems that keep stricter sanctions against these countries.
What saddens me is that the corporate media whores ignore this BIG story- there was once a time when something like this would be plastered all over the front pages of every newspaper. Nowadays our media is no different than Pravda of Communist Russia.

I truly fear for our country... this ignorance is ruining our nation!

I not only fear for your country, I fear for mine, Canada, and the rest of the world.

Our beef industry is in shambles over here because of Bush. He, or maybe I should say his administration, closed the border to Canadian beef because a cow from here was found to have Mad Cow disease... It was later found-out that the cow originally came from America.

And I don't think I even need to start talking about SARS. Everyone knows that it's in America but being well-hidden.

Then there's the whole trying to kill journalists oposing his actions and his war AND succeeding in killing a guy who worked for Al Jazeera.

I could go on, but I really don't think I need to. How many mistakes have to occur before change is made?

I wouldn't compare someone to Hitler lightly but obviously the current Republican party has become a radical organization. Things have taken a drastic turn in the world, not only America.

I mean, our whole election over here was based on who supported Bush's war. Canada's decisions aren't supposed to depend on your's.

I just hate this.

sorry for the long entry. obviously i'm angry.
